He found that individuals sometimes lose their body awareness and begin to move incorrectly, walk inefficiently and misuse their muscles in daily activities, leading to inadequacies. He developed a postural re-alignment to alleviate muscle tension and avoid unnecessary muscle use.

Sound Therapy
Tibetan Singing Bowls have been used for centuries for meditation purposes and healing. They create a range of sounds that restore the normal vibratory frequencies of dis-eased and out-of-harmony parts of the body, mind and soul. The healing process begins by entraining our brainwaves to synchronize with the perfect resonance of the bowls. Unique reverberations create the perfect state for creative thinking, intuitive messages and deep meditation.
The ancient practice of balancing the body through the energy of Tibetan Sound Therapy could be the missing link in today’s health care. Dr. Herbert Benson, of Harvard’s Mind Body Institute, has studied stress reduction for 35 years. Dr. Benson found that stress causes physical or emotional blockages and that stress reduction was essential to creation of health. He coined the phrase “relaxation response” and defined this as “a physical state of deep rest that changes the physical and emotional responses to stress.”

Mindfulness meditation
Mindfulness, a relatively recent meditation practice in the West. It involves non-judgmental observation and self-compassion. When confronted with unhappiness or stress, it encourages you to refrain from taking them personally, treating them like passing clouds in the sky, and observing them with a friendly curiosity. This practice helps you identify and interrupt negative thought patterns before they pull you into a downward spiral. In this state of peace, panic and stress find no foothold, making room for love, nurturing energy, and a positive perspective.
Velimir’s work on mindfulness is greatly inspired by John Kabat-Zinn, who has said of mindfulness training in general that it is “an inspiring programme for anyone caring about his or her own health and sanity.”

Fiji Stone Massage
A hot stone massage is a unique therapy in which a therapist employs heated, exceptionally smooth stones as an extension of their hands, strategically placing them on the body. The warmth not only induces profound relaxation but also aids in loosening tense muscles, enabling the therapist to perform deeper and more effective work.
Hot stones warmed by fire were used by Native Americans to treat aching muscles. Before you arrive for the session, your massage therapist will sanitize the stones and heats them in a bath of 120 to 150 degree water or 50 to 60 Celsius. The stones that I am using, are a black volcanic rock that absorbs and retains heat well, and have been smoothed by natural forces in the rivers or sea. During the session I leave heated stones in specific points along your spine, in the palms of your hand, on your belly, or even between your toes to improve the flow of energy in your body. I do believe that the stones themselves have their energetic charge and that needs to be cleansed after each session. A hot stone massage is more expensive than a basic massage, because it requires much more preparation and cleaning up, and usually it does run longer. Fiji massage have been developed to provide you with complete relaxation of your mind and to revitalise your body.

Ayurvedic Massage
The primary purpose of Ayurvedic massage just as all other Ayurvedic treatments and protocols is to help balance the body and mind by removing toxins. This massage balances the doshas and regenerates the organs of the body through the reflex points. It enables deep relaxation through movements of the fingers and with the aid of a little copper bowl, the Kansu bowl.
In Ayurvedic body massage, the specialised Dosha oil (warmed), continuous strokes and techniques, followed by the herbal formula wash-scrub, is an intense, dynamic and rejuvenating experience. According to Yoga and Ayurveda, nature consists of three primal qualities, which are the main powers of Cosmic Intelligence that determine our spiritual growth. These are called gunas in Sanskrit, meaning “what binds” because wrongly understood they keep us in bondage to the external world.
1) Sattva – intelligence, imparts balance
2) Rajas – energy, causes imbalance
3) Tamas – substance, creates inertia
Ayurveda is based on the principles of three doshas. Doshas are the energies that make up every individual, which perform different physiological functions in the body:
The 3 Dosha types:
1. Vata Dosha – Energy that controls bodily functions associated with motion, including blood circulation, breathing, blinking, and your heartbeat. *In balance: There is creativity and vitality. *Out of balance: Can produce fear and anxiety.
2. Pitta Dosha -Energy that controls the body’s metabolic systems, including digestion, absorption, nutrition, and your body’s temperature. *In balance: Leads to contentment and intelligence. *Out of balance: Can cause ulcers and anger.
3. Kapha Dosha – Energy that controls growth in the body. It supplies water to all body parts, moisturizes the skin, and maintains the immune system. *In balance: Expressed as love and forgiveness. *Out of balance: Can lead to insecurity and envy.
Each person has all three Doshas, but usually one or two are the dominate ones. Various Dosha proportions determine one’s physiological and personality traits, as well as general likes and dislikes. For example, Vata types will prefer hot weather to cold and Kapha types are more likely to crave spicy foods than other types.
This bowl, made from alloys of different metals, regulates the temperature of the body. The massage therefore resembles a ceremony, which starts with a “traditional foot bath”, continues with a manual massage of different (energetic and reflex) zones of the foot, and finishes with the massage using the Kansu bowl which regulates the Pitta.

Ingham Reflexology
Reflexology is a science that deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all the glands, organs, and parts of the body. Stimulating these reflexes properly can help many health problems naturally, a type of preventative maintenance. It is a serious advance in the health field and should not be confused with massage.
Reflexology was practised as early as 2330 B.C. by the Egyptian culture. Reflexology as we know it today was first researched and developed by Eunice Ingham, the pioneer of this field. Her first book on the subject was published in 1938. And since 1942, Reflexology workshops have been conducted year round.
What is the Ingham method? The combined work of the late Eunice Ingham and her nephew Dwight C. Byers, the world’s leading authority on Foot Reflexology. Mr. Byers, director of the International Institute of Reflexology®, and/or his hand-picked instructors conduct ongoing workshops on a worldwide scale to both laymen and professionals.
What does reflexology do? The Ingham Method® of Reflexology is used primarily for relaxing tension. Doctors agree that over 75% of our health problems can be linked to nervous stress and tension. Reflexology improves nerve and blood supply, and helps nature to normalize.

Mindfulness meditation
Mindfulness is a simple form of meditation that was not very well known in the West until recently. A mindful meditation consists of focusing your attention on your breathing, breath as it flows in and out of your body. Focusing on every breath, in this particular way, allows you to observe your thoughts as they arise in your mind and, little by little, to let go of your struggle with them.

The primary purpose of Ayurvedic massage just as all other Ayurvedic treatments and protocols is to help balance the body and mind by removing toxins. The toxins (AMA) are understood to be leftover putrefied foodstuff that has taken a grease-like form. The longer the AMA is retained in the bodies, the more stubborn and harder they get and become embedded.
